Ahhh! Spring Break in California. What could be better?

The Sun, The Sand, The Golf, In-N-Out.....oh and also.....

....visiting with Grandma & Grandpa Downey :)

Cody and Kai were convinced that the water couldn't be TOO cold. They could definitely boogie board. WRONG! But Cody did say that he needed a wetsuit for his birthday.

Ben and Dane started out pretty clean. But I couldn't catch them long enough to rub in the sunscreen.

They had many other things in mind.......

Like eating sand - getting your face in it if you have to.

Eating More Sand

Chomping on some fresh seaweed. Kelp to those who consider it a delicacy, like Dane.

But over all we were all Happy! It was a great time.

Ben and Dane even met a new friend. Bob the Cat is over 20 years old!

Thanks Mom and Dad. We had a great time! We love you guys.

As an added bonus, you convinced me to get the boys a haircut -

HERE IT IS

AND I finished Kai's Dress. Thanks for the help with that!

Good News

Coming July 20th........

We are all excited, but Kai is most happy with this news. Her mom is not too far behind her with excitement. :)

Ben - The Pokey Little Puppy (Pokey is not the word we use to describe Ben)

PS It should be noted that we have the same witch on our porch that is seen in Beckki and Allen's Halloween Pictures. Thanks mom!
