Cody - Spaceman Spiff (the alter ego of Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes Fame)

Kai - Cinderella (duh!)

Dane - The Tawny Scrawny Lion (Although he looks none too scrawny or tawny)

Ben - The Pokey Little Puppy (Pokey is not the word we use to describe Ben)

PS It should be noted that we have the same witch on our porch that is seen in Beckki and Allen's Halloween Pictures. Thanks mom!

Happy Birthday Boys!

We had the Larsens over to celebrate Brett's and the Twins' Birthdays.

Mom, you would be proud that I used that pumpkin bundt pan.

Brett was adamant that we needed a cinnamon bundt cake as opposed to a traditional birthday cake. So, the boys got a cupcake each.

Dane really wasn't all that impressed with cake.

That's about all they did. Nothing major. I cannot believe it has been a year. I also cannot believe that Brett and I are still alive. It has been a rough one and I am sure that there are plenty more challenges ahead. We are so grateful for the kids to be healthy and growing. It depends on what day you ask if I can add "happy" to that list.

Anyway, here's to the milestone!

He wouldn't make much of a model.....I took a picture one morning to show him so he knew what I was dealing with when he wanted to throw a fit. That way he can laugh at himself the next time he gets like this.
